About Us
Cornerstone Chiropractic & Rehabilitation is owned and operated by Chiropractors Amy and Garrett Lewellen. They opened the office in January 2004. In September 2008 they relocated the office to its present location a block from the Back Cove at 49 Dartmouth Street in Portland where they share space with Mobile Fitness Personal Training (www.mobilefitnessmaine.com).
Amy and Garrett have been practicing Chiropractic since 2000. After working in clinics in which they were required to treat patients in as little as 5 to 10 minutes, they made a conscious decision to open Cornerstone Chiropractic & Rehabilitation with a different focus. In order to correctly diagnose, adjust, perform related muscle (soft tissue) work, and demonstrate necessary exercises and stretches, more time would be needed. You will find that visits following the initial consultation are 20-30 minutes long.
